Thermo Fisher Scientific Accepts Industry of the Year Award, Supported by Local and State Leaders

(Pitt County, NC) — Pitt County Economic Development honors Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc. as Pitt County 2021 Industry of the Year during a ceremony on October 7, 2021 at the company’s Greenville, NC site.

The award, presented annually to a local manufacturer or distributor since 1997, recognizes outstanding business achievements based on criteria such as human and/or social sustainability, economic and/or environmental sustainability, as well as economic and community impact. This year, local and state leaders participated virtually contributing congratulatory messages to Thermo Fisher.
