Pitt County Development Commission Launches Web Video Campaign
Greenville, NC (July 9, 2009) – The Pitt County Development Commission recently launched a web video that showcases the County’s business climate. The four minute video includes interviews with existing industry executives and economic development partners throughout the county.
The video was produced to aid in the recruitment of new industry to Pitt County.
“Earlier this year, the Greenville, NC MSA ranked #2 in Forbes.com’s Best Small Places for Business and Careers,” said Kelly Andrews, PCDC’s associate director. “This video will give viewers a snapshot of the assets that make Pitt County a great place to do business.”
Interviews with Duck Rabbit Brewery, CMI Plastics and Metrics give firsthand accounts of how each company’s creation, relocation or expansion fit well in Pitt County. Favorable business costs, workforce training and labor availability were mentioned as some of Pitt County’s key assets. Interviews with representatives from East Carolina University, Pitt Community College and Pitt County Memorial Hospital describe the abundant educational and health care resources available in Pitt County.
The project was produced by PCDC’s marketing firm, Inspire Creative Studios.
“While the video certainly adds a dynamic element to LocateInCarolina.com, it will also serve as a means of driving traffic to the website,” said Jonathan Medford, account manager at Inspire Creative Studios. “The video will be posted on Youtube, CreativeClass.com, Vimeo.com and other video sharing websites.”
A second video will be released later this summer that will focus on Pitt County’s quality of life.
