N.C. House Appoints Pitt County Development Commission’s Wanda Yuhas
Greenville, NC (August 13, 2009) – The N. C. House has appointed Wanda Yuhas as its representative on North Carolina's Eastern Region Board.
Yuhas is the executive director of the Pitt County Development Commission. She will complete the unexpired term of John Chaffee which runs through June 30, 2011, and will be eligible for reappointment at that time. Her nomination came from Representatives Marian McLawhorn, Edith Warren, and Arthur Williams.
North Carolina's Eastern Region (NCER) encompasses thirteen counties in the heart of Eastern North Carolina and is one of seven regional economic development partnerships in the state.
